    Jamel Franklin is a Brooklyn-born, Miami-raised rapper now based in Dublin. With a Guyanese-Jamaican heritage, laidback flows, and esoteric lyrics, he blends real-life experiences, film, and culture into a distinctive, authentic sound that captivates audiences on stage and in recordings.

    Cherish (feat. Keith Fennell) marks the third time I’ve had the pleasure to work with Jamel Franklin. A closer look at the process reveals how the project taught me a higher sensibility for capturing skin tones in my artworks  when portraiting real people.
